We are committed as a Cathedral to not only share the Good News of Jesus Christ in our words but also through our actions. We work closely with a large network of charities and organisations locally and further afield to express our priority for the vulnerable and most needy in our society and globally. We collaborate closely with several organisations to respond to the growing number of homeless people in our city, we have a significant number of asylum seekers in our Cathedral community and we have an active support group working closely with them to provide welcome, hospitality, English classes and legal support, and further afield we enjoy a longstanding and inspirational link with a charity working in sub Saharan Africa to change lives.

We are committed to the principles of Fair Trade with fair trade coffee served on Sunday mornings between our 9.30am and 11.15am services and regular stalls selling fair trade and responsibly sourced goods.
