 Discover the stories of formidable women in Hertfordshire’s history. Featuring the life and legends of Christina of Markyate, Sarah Churchill the Duchess of Marlborough, and Katherine Ferrers, the Wicked Women herself. All of their tales are prompted by the original question: Why are the myths of these ‘wicked’ women linked to St Albans?

About Sarah Lloyd-Winder

There is something so essential and comforting about sitting down and being told a story and Sarah loves to tell stories. She is a professional performance storyteller who seeks out tales from around the world to tell at a variety of venues and situations. Sarah originally trained as a dancer and had a contemporary dance company and then Children’s Theatre Company. These toured festivals, arts centres schools and other venues. She has worked on projects with refugees, special need’s adults, and children, and in centres with at risk children. She returned to education to complete an MA in Media, Culture and Communication, focusing on digital storytelling. This brought her full-circle back to performance.
