The Friends

The Friends are an independent charity providing financial and practical support to St Albans Cathedral.

They play a vital role in enabling the life and work of our glorious building to flourish and thrive as it has done for nearly 1000 years. Since 1999 our members have donated over £1,000,000 to support initiatives and projects that enrich and enhance the work of the Cathedral. Many of these can been seen in the Cathedral today.
