Our Cathedral Guides are ready and waiting to welcome your group to St Albans Cathedral and share its wonderful stories with you. Tours are often the highlight of many group’s visit and we can tailor your tour around your interests!

We offer tours in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German and Italian – please mention language and any other requirements at the first stage of booking.

All group visits to St Albans Cathedral should be booked in advance. Please do contact us to discuss your visit further. 

There may be times of the year where we are unable to accommodate your booking due to other events or services - for example the first 2 weeks of September, when we host the University of Hertfordshire graduation ceremonies.

The Story of St Albans Cathedral - our standard tour covers over 1700 years of history where you will learn about the story of Alban, discover our two beautifully restored medieval shrines, see our illuminated wall paintings, and meet the many fascinating characters who make up the wonderful history of this building.
