Bishop of Barisal in the Church of Bangladesh visits St Albans

We were delighted to welcome to Choral Evensong on Wednesday Bishop Shourabh Pholia, the Bishop of Barisal and Deputy Moderator in the Church of Bangladesh, and his wife Revd Suchitra Behera. Revd Suchitra is on a year-long placement here in our Diocese and is based in Radlett. Bishop Shourabh has come on a short visit and is meeting people across the Diocese. It was good to hear something of ministry in Barisal Diocese and to share in prayer together.  We hope that Revd Suchitra will be able to speak to us at the Cathedral while she is here.  It is good to reminded of, and celebrate. the worldwide Anglican Communion of which we are part.
